What we offer

At the ruru. studios store in Zurich, we offer ear piercing appointments in a calm and welcoming setting. Your piercing will be done by trained staff in our Zurich store.

We currently offer classic earlobe piercings and helix piercings only. Depending on your ear anatomy, several earlobe piercings can be done during one appointment.

Please note that we do not offer tragus, conch, rook, daith, nose, belly button or any other body piercings. Our piercing service is focused exclusively on earlobe and helix piercings.

Pricing

The online booking fee is CHF 16.- and counts as a prepayment for one piercing service as well as a no-show fee and cannot be refunded.

If you would like to get more than one piercing during your appointment, each additional piercing service will be charged in-store.

Piercing jewelry is not included in the service fee and will be charged separately. Depending on the jewelry you choose, the price is between CHF 30.- and CHF 40.- per piece.

  • Your first piercing jewelry is chosen directly at your appointment in the ruru. store and is charged separately. For fresh piercings, we offer classic starter jewelry, such as small ball studs with or without zirconia, available in gold and silver. Depending on the starter jewelry you choose, the price is usually between CHF 30.- and CHF 40.- per piece.

    Once your piercing has fully healed, you can switch to other piercing jewelry. For healed piercings, we have a much wider selection of ruru. styles available in-store and online. As a general guide, earlobe piercings usually take around 1 to 3 months to heal, while helix piercings can take around 6 to 12 months, depending on your individual healing process.

    You are also welcome to choose a future piercing jewelry piece during your appointment, which you can wear once your piercing has healed.

  • Yes, this is possible (depending on your ear anatomy). Each additional piercing service costs CHF 16.- and the jewelry is charged separately.

  • We highly recommend booking your appointment online in advance. Walk-ins may be possible depending on staff availability, but we cannot always guarantee that.

  • Please plan around 30 Minutes per piercing for your appointment. This gives us enough time for the consultation, jewelry selection, ID check, consent form and piercing.

  • Yes, please bring a valid official ID, passport or driver’s licence. We check IDs before every piercing appointment.

  • Yes, but if you are under 16, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the appointment. Your parent or legal guardian should also bring a valid official ID.

  • Your piercing appointment takes place at the ruru. studios store at Schaffhauserstrasse 2, 8006 Zurich.

  • Please arrive on time and make sure you have eaten something before your appointment. Please also bring your valid ID. If you are under 16, please come with a parent or legal guardian.
